RN Mother/Baby Nights – AdventHealth
Location: Mansfield, Texas Unit: L&D Schedule: Full-time, Nights (7:00pm - 7:00am) Location: 2300 Lone Star Road, Mansfield, TX 76063 Overview

Responsibilities
Coordinate the care and service of selected patient populations across the continuum of illness. Promote effective utilization of and monitor health care resources. Provide input and information to the interdisciplinary team via nurse leadership to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes. Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans with a multidisciplinary team in collaboration with patients and families. Act as a liaison to post-hospital care providers and community health resources. Conduct thorough assessments of patients\' goals, biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and discharge planning needs using hospital resources. Document patient care accurately, including drug allergies, lab data, diagnostic tests, and patient education. Manage patient transitions through the system and transfer accountability upon discharge. Attend practice group meetings and participate in peer reviews. Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations according to protocol. Utilize management skills to supervise, evaluate, and review patient care activities, ensuring quality care and adherence to nursing standards. Qualifications
Education and Experience: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher. Current RN license in Texas or in a qualifying compact state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP) certification.
