Overview
Youth Clinical School Based Case Manager II (Bilingual Preferred) at Metrocare Services. The School Based Youth Clinical Case Manager II provides psychosocial/rehabilitative services to children/adolescents and their families with serious emotional disturbance in school, home, or community locations. Aimed at maximizing functioning, this role may involve face-to-face or remote (video/phone) service delivery 60-70% of the time. Metrocare is the largest provider of mental health services in North Texas, with a mission to deliver gender-responsive, trauma-informed care to individuals including children, families, and adults. Provide direct intervention and clinical services in a school-based setting to clients referred by contracted schools. Facilitate educational groups for facility staff, parents, and students. Conduct crisis intervention as needed. Provide individual skills sessions during the school day or after school. Assist with scheduling and coordination of telephone and virtual psychiatric evaluations and clinical assessment appointments. Perform other duties as assigned. Competencies

Demonstrate analytical skills, professional acumen, confidentiality, and effective communication. Effective verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human services with 1+ year of experience in MH/MR or related field, or Master’s degree with 0-2 years of experience in human services. Experience with trauma-informed services preferred (Seeking Safety, Illness Management and Recovery, Motivational Interviewing). Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills; ability to work with reports and numbers; ability to calculate moderately complex figures for activity and budget reporting. Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions; able to handle standardized situations with limited variables. Computer Skills
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; ability to use the Internet for resources. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Current State of Texas Driver License or, if in another state, an active license in that state. If licensed elsewhere, obtain Texas Driver License within three months of employment. Liability insurance required if operating a personal vehicle on Center property or Center business; must be insurable by Center’s liability carrier and have an acceptable driving record.
