Responsibilities

Expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Supports and complies with the performance improvement plan, Joint Commission, and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies. Assists the Nurse Manager in managing and coordinating clinical operations to provide quality care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Ensures documentation, care planning, and patient care delivery meet regulatory standards. Fosters a positive team environment and facilitates orientation and competency validation. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Current CA RN License, BLS, and ACLS certification required. ACLS certification for new grads within 6 months of hire. 1-2 years of acute care experience or hired through the RN Versant program. Education sufficient to obtain required licensure and certifications. Bedside Dysphagia Screen Competency. Stroke patient care competency. Basic computer skills. Preferred Qualifications: BSN preferred. NIH Stroke certification preferred. Overview
