PRN MRI / CT Technologist
Reporting to Regional Manager of Clinical Operations, this role at Invision Sally Jobe / Radiology Imaging Associates in Denver Metro Area offers PRN appointment in state of the art imaging centers.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs MRI and CT procedures as ordered achieving high quality and timeliness.
Escorts patients to treatment room and assists with dressings as necessary.
Completes all documentation necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services.
Explains MRI and CT procedures to address patient concerns and questions.
Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
Completes related paperwork and obtains interpretation by the radiologist.
Conducts quality control measures to monitor machine performance and reports all malfunctions or need for adjustments to the site manager.
Focuses on customer service and courteous interaction with patients, staff, and visitors to maintain professional atmosphere.
Responds to medical emergencies including administering CPR.
Assists patients with positioning on the exam table and prevents falls.
Experience and Skill Requirements
1–2 years magnetic resonance experience preferred.
Must be able to work independently.
Education Requirements
ARRT (MR) and (CT) required.
Must maintain continuing education as required by ARRT.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Pay Range $37.00 to $52.00 per hour. This range is a reasonable estimate based on non-discriminatory factors. Applications accepted on ongoing basis until position filled.
