Overview

A ~400-bed acute care hospital located just east of Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Inpatient Night Shift Pharmacist. This role is available for either temp-to-hire or direct permanent placement, offering stability and long-term growth for the right candidate.

Setting

Inpatient hospital pharmacy, supporting a full range of clinical services.

Responsibilities Include

Verifying medication orders Supervising pharmacy technicians Consulting with physicians and nursing staff Providing pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring Utilizing Allscripts for order entry and clinical documentation

Ideal Candidate

Active California Pharmacist License PharmD earned in the United States Minimum 5 years of inpatient hospital experience, or PGY1 residency plus 3 years of experience Residency-trained candidates strongly preferred by the Director of Pharmacy Familiarity with Allscripts is a plus Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently during night shifts
