Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Opportunity - (Outpatient) - Saugus, MA

The practitioner will provide direct clinical service to patients, provide clinical supervision to interns and staff, be involved in quality improvement activities, other administrative activities, and help to develop programming as needed by the director of behavioral health Services provided include psychiatric evaluations, consultation, and treatment of referred patients; prescribing medications and follow-up medication visits; provision of psychotherapy; participation in mental health in-take conferences and case presentations; consultation and evaluation of patients in regards to crisis situations and admission to a psychiatric mental health and/or substance abuse inpatient unit The practitioner will also be involved in program development and community consultation Ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced multidisciplinary practice and experience working with underserved multicultural populations required. A majority of the patients served are Spanish Speaking - Practitioner preferred to be bilingual English and Spanish Excellent Salary & Benefits package Including Loan Repayment Requirements include: MA NP License DEA, CSR BLS, ACLS All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
