Position Overview As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer you will support product development and design of high‑power three‑phase UPS, energy storage, and medium‑voltage product lines. The role spans the product design life cycle from concept to production within a global, multi‑disciplinary team.

What You’ll Do

Develop new products from concept to production meeting customer requirements, safety, quality, reliability, cost, and schedule commitments.

Design and develop SiC three‑phase UPS (10 kW‑3 MW) and Li‑Ion energy storage systems for datacenters, hospitals, and critical loads.

Create and maintain functional specifications aligned with customer and product management requirements.

Perform power electronics, analog, logical, and digital circuit simulations and state‑machine change analyses; drive technical excellence using Design for Six Sigma concepts.

Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams and meet cost, performance, and schedule goals.

Interface with vendors on component technical issues, data sheet clarification, and design solutions.

Support product DVT, validation testing, prototype build, testing, and delivery.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of three (3) years of power electronics circuit design experience.

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of one (1) year of power electronics circuit design experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Inverter design experience, battery system knowledge, and protective device expertise.

Three‑phase power system and power electronics utility interface knowledge.

Power electronic controls understanding and system design impact.

Design for Six Sigma tools experience.

Global team interaction experience.

Medium voltage power conversion equipment development experience.

Position Criteria

High‑frequency power electronics magnetics design knowledge.

Simulation, analysis, and troubleshooting with HIL systems.

Matlab/Simulink/PLECS and PSPICE proficiency.

Power electronics system analysis from board level to complex products.

PCB design tools experience (Altium, Cadence).

Layout design principle understanding.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Self‑motivated, proactive, detail oriented.

High power lab safety awareness.

Salary range: $88,499 – $129,799.
