Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process on every customer vehicle Assist in inventory management and general store duties Perform services in accordance with Monro's safety standards and procedures Test drive vehicles following company policy and local traffic laws Maintain technical knowledge through required Monro University training Operate and maintain equipment safely according to manufacturer guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Salary and Roles
Salary Range:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience; $25 - $35 flat rate, based on experience General Service Technician
The General Service Technician is a full-time or part-time hourly position based on business needs. This role performs basic routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications, delivering 5-star service through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions while meeting guest time and quality expectations. Qualifications
High school or GED equivalent Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or equivalent ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred Current valid driver's license and satisfactory MVR; ability to operate customer vehicles for test drives Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro's tool purchase program Automotive Technician
High School Diploma or equivalent Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or equivalent ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred Must possess a current valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory MVR; ability to operate customer’s vehicles for test drives Required to own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program Benefits
