The Inside Sales Engineer will support the Regional Sales Team, Sarasin Assembler network, and other customers by providing Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) quotations that meet customer-provided specifications, are completed on time, meet financial targets and are in concert with the company’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
Primary responsibilities include:
Effectively oversee and drive the quotation lifecycle from receipt to order acceptance.
Produce and review all quotes for accuracy, pricing and margin, ensuring all levels of corporate approval are met. Take ownership of assigned duties and drive action to satisfy customer requirements.
Establish and maintain good lines of communications with channel partners, field sales, and Sarasin office in France. Collaborate with and engage pertinent departments to promote teamwork and reinforce a sense of urgency on behalf of our customer.
Use applications such as Syteline and Salesforce to enter and track opportunities and orders.
Exhibit a high level of integrity with regard to sensitive, confidential and/or proprietary company information which includes costs, pricing methods, and product information.
Comply with all department and company policies, procedures and programs.
Provide superior technical skill in the knowledge of and application of our products.
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:
Minimum BA or BS degree from a four-year college or university (Engineering, Ind Technology preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in inside sales with a focus on PSVs.
Proven track record of successful sales of valve-related products.
Strong written and verbal communication including the ability to articulate moderate to highly technical concepts, materials, and configurations to pertinent stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects of varying lengths concurrently. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fluid manner.
Good analytical, and system troubleshooting skills. Places high importance on attention to detail.
