About The Candidate / Role Tradewind Aviation is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic to work out of our base location in Stuart, FL. The individual should be attentive to detail and have exceptional problem solving and diverse mechanical skills. Must be flexible with work schedule and able to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
Performing all airframe and powerplant maintenance on our fleet of turboprop aircraft
Maintaining hangar equipment
Performing other assigned duties
Requirements
Must have A&P License
2+ Years of experience preferred
Required to maintain an adequate set of tools
Valid US Driver’s License + Clean Driving Record
Valid passport without travel restrictions
Eagerness to learn and willingness to train
Must be willing to travel to various parts of the Caribbean and the Northeast US for short periods of time
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS.
Able to work in confined spaces
