About The Candidate / Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Head of Business Development for the Southeast Region to join our team at Tradewind Aviation, a leading private aviation provider operating scheduled and private charter services. The Director of Business Development will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and business development initiatives in the Southeast U.S. and the Bahamas. This individual will identify, negotiate, and manage relationships that expand Tradewind’s client base, elevate brand presence, and generate measurable results aligned with revenue forecasts. Essential Duties

Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on partnerships that drive client acquisition and revenue growth in the Southeast and Bahamas. Identify, build, and nurture high-value relationships with luxury hospitality groups, real estate developers, tourism boards, private clubs, family offices, and other strategic partners. Collaborate closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure alignment with company growth objectives. Negotiate partnership agreements that deliver strong ROI and brand visibility. Act as a brand ambassador for Tradewind at industry events, conferences, and partner activations in key markets. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional opportunities to inform strategy. Regularly report on progress toward revenue goals, pipeline development, and partnership performance. Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales leadership roles, preferably within private aviation, luxury travel, or hospitality. Established network in the Southeast and/or Bahamas luxury markets strongly preferred. Proven track record of developing and closing strategic partnerships that drive revenue. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally. Willingness to travel frequently throughout Florida and the Bahamas, with occasional travel to the Northeast. Physical Requirements

Frequent travel via car or airplane. Prolonged periods of standing when attending events. Some prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer. Ability to move around and network at Tradeshows and FBOs. Strength to lift 25 lbs Benefits
