We seek a Space Vehicle Electrical Test Engineer within the Space Protection Programs organization. This role offers the chance to perform critical work, develop your potential, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Responsibilities
Lead systems integration and test execution efforts Develop and review test artifacts Oversee subsystem and system-level testing Document test results and discrepancies Lead test anomaly investigations and troubleshooting Synthesize test plans considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints Perform testing according to specifications and standards Assist with hardware/software interface solutions Ensure system integration through test execution Coordinate testing activities with support teams Brief test status and discrepancies to stakeholders Support a fast-paced, possibly 24/7 environment, including travel Qualifications
Basic:
Bachelor's in engineering or related experience; ability to lead teams; knowledge of assembly, test, launch operations; active TS/SCI clearance. Desired:
5+ years in engineering or 3+ with a Master's; experience as a test conductor in space vehicle programs; familiarity with electrical test equipment; scripting skills (Python, etc.); experience in space vehicle test operations; strong communication and teamwork skills; understanding of systems thinking. Additional Information
Work is primarily on-site with limited telework. Salary ranges vary by location and experience. Lockheed Martin offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. This position is eligible for incentive plans.
