Airbus US Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to join our Final Assembly Line. Responsibilities include working within a multi-function team to address technical questions related to the final assembly of the A220 aircraft. You will validate workbook modifications, assist with tooling, troubleshooting, part configuration validation, nonconformity research, and ensure a comprehensive plan for outstanding actions in the Methods Department. Primary Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to production. Investigate and submit workbook modifications. Create rework orders and handle nonconformities. Support MES issues, verify technical content, and communicate with MFT. Analyze status, generate reports, and manage continuous improvements. Projects:
Support management projects, research solutions, and ensure project completion. Training:
Meet training requirements and participate in development activities. Additional Responsibilities:
Evaluate options, recommend processes, and lead projects as needed. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in relevant engineering fields or equivalent experience. 0-2 years aerospace experience, preferably in final assembly. Knowledge of aerospace processes, tools (SAP, Catia, Enovia), and aircraft systems. Intercultural experience, effective communication skills, and willingness to travel. Physical Requirements:
Ability to see, hear, speak, operate equipment, carry, lift, push/pull, sit, squat, stand, walk, and wear PPE as needed. Additional info:
