Responsible for plant wide controls and electrical infrastructure (instrumentation, programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, distributed control systems and associated programming). Manage both simple and complex new installations; mentor, train, and coach technicians; review billing and tariffs and make recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Organize workloads, provide technical support, and manage work quality to ensure uptime and quality product. Assist in the design, development, test, and implementation of electrical and control systems and equipment. Lead and assist in reducing downtime by evaluating and testing equipment for electrical problems using diagnostic tools. Provide technical assistance and resolution for electrical or engineering problems before, during, and after project implementation. Lead installation and assembly of electrical systems according to engineering data and electrical principles. Monitor and enforce OSHA and company safety regulations and policies. Evaluate engineering proposals, shop drawings, and design comments for sound electrical practice and safety compliance. Provide leadership to enforce safety programs within the department and plant. Develop, monitor, and execute safe practices and operating procedures with employees to minimize workplace accidents. Assist in the investigation of EH&S incidents to determine root cause. Review existing electrical criteria to identify necessary revisions. Plan, manage, schedule, and monitor work of reporting personnel. Evaluate employee performance and skill levels to determine improvement needs and develop improvement plans. Create and execute a personal development plan with management to improve skills and competencies. Conduct inspections of equipment in accordance with quality control programs. Draw or modify diagrams and write specifications to clarify design details and functional criteria of electrical and control systems. Ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies. Analyze and resolve production equipment problems affecting product quality in a timely manner. Prepare project cost and work-time estimates to meet requirements. Meet and exceed customer expectations through supervision of subordinates to deliver services on time and within budget. Collaborate with all departments to identify, define, and solve problems within the discipline. Provide leadership to subordinates in alignment with company culture. Ensure fair treatment and foster a team environment that supports meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Participate in efforts to address issues identified through climate surveys and improve the workplace. Ensure Maintenance Technicians meet regulatory requirements including OSHA, NFPA, NEC, EPA and TTB. Take corrective action to stay in compliance. Understand and support the career goals of employees and work with them to develop skills. Create and execute a Personal Career Development Plan with management. Support facilities and production uptime by developing and implementing a world-class preventive maintenance program, including equipment inspection, lubrication, and documentation. Qualifications / Requirements

MUST Engineering or related degree or equivalent experience Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and technical skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also independently 3 years hands-on electrical experience, Allen Bradley PLC programming and hardware experience, equipment troubleshooting experience Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and ladder logic BSEE, BSEET, ASEE, ASEET or equivalent experience Preferred

Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG sector 3 years supervisory experience Management experience Rockwell Automation controls training Seniority level
