Field Service Technician I/II/III

Provide maintenance, calibration, repair and installation assistance. Perform system startup, testing and training services as needed. Complete service order forms and calibration documentation on a daily basis. Interface with customers, field service staff, and sales staff to determine customer needs and urgency. Prioritize and schedule service visits as needed to respond to changing customer issues. Sell and promote MSA services, upgrades, maintenance parts, replacement products and service contracts. Provide support via telephone, email or on-site at customer location as needed. Determine part requirements to support customers. Order parts as needed to meet requirements. Perform cycle counts and physical inventory to ensure accuracy of inventory value. Manage travel expenses and complete expense reports. Manage and maintain company supplied vehicle. Qualifications
Proven experience delivering excellent customer service. Excellent communication skills. Experience with instrument test equipment, tools and software. Mechanically inclined. Computer experience. Willingness to travel 75% domestically. Ability to perform service calls after hours. Education and Experience required
Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent military or technical school education. This position is available at three different career levels based upon experience, education, etc.: Level I: 2 years of experience providing service on industrial instrumentation; Level II: 3 years; Level III: 5 years. Preferred
Bachelors Degree in a technician field. On-site service experience providing installation, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of industrial electronics and systems, with gas detection instruments and industrial control systems. Seniority level
