We are seeking a

Mechanical Design Engineer

to design aircraft mechanical systems and components. Responsibilities

Design aircraft mechanical systems and components, including mechanisms, actuators, linkages, and installation hardware. Ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and industry standards (FAA, ASTM, etc.). Perform engineering calculations and analyses (kinematics, loads, stress, and thermal effects) to validate designs. Support validation of designs through simulation, prototyping, and physical testing. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to optimize designs for cost, producibility, and maintainability. Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation. Support development of test plans, procedures, and reports for mechanical system validation. Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reduce complexity/weight, and enhance manufacturability. Requirements

Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD and mechanical design principles. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (required). Minimum 5 years of engineering and design experience with aircraft mechanical systems or components. Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, fasteners, and manufacturing processes. Experience with mechanisms, hydraulics, pneumatics, or environmental control systems (preferred). Familiarity with Engineering Change processes (DCR, ECR, ECN, etc.). Complete understanding of ASME Y14.5-2009 and practical application of GD&T. What We Offer
