Electrical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior) At Boeing, the Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization seeks an Electrical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer to join the data systems development team in Tukwila, Washington.

Position Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, sustain, and document control and data acquisition projects from concept to completion using NI LabVIEW in Aerodynamics, Noise, and other lab test environments

Integrate new hardware and software features into existing data acquisition systems and/or software applications

Participate in the development lifecycle of new projects (work estimation and budgeting, extracting and creating requirements, technical design reviews, maintenance, etc.)

Provide customer service to support testing activities and communicate progress to stakeholders

Implement a robust and scalable test infrastructure

Develop modular and reusable code libraries for control and acquisition projects

Familiarity with using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, protocol analyzers) to troubleshoot or debug hardware issues

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

3 + years of coursework and/or experience in programming with LabVIEW software

3+ years of experience with standardized Network Protocols and Services (i.e. TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, etc.)

3+ years of experience working in a laboratory associated with materials processes and/or electrical, electronic and electromechanical parts

3+ years of experience with developing, documenting and maintaining complex architectures, requirements, algorithms, software-to-hardware interfaces and designs for software systems

Preferred Qualifications

Level 4: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

5 years or more years of LabVIEW experience

National Instrument certification in LabVIEW development: Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD), Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA), Certified LabVIEW Embedded Developer (CLED

Experience with interfacing between multiple data acquisition system hardware using LabVIEW

Experience with LabVIEW Real-Time and FPGA

Experience with data streaming protocols (TCP/UDP, RTP, custom protocols) and basic network troubleshooting

Experience working with and optimizing legacy software and obsolete hardware

Experience writing software and hardware documentation

Diligent adherence to software engineering best practices

Hands‑on experience with troubleshooting hardware at the system and component level

Electromechanical experience including but not limited to motion control, encoders, servomotors

Understanding of time synchronization concepts (PTP/NTP) and timestamping best practices

Experience w/DQMH (Delacor Queued Message Handler) and Actor Framework

Pay & Benefits Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Mid‑Level: $102,850 - $139,150

Summary pay range Senior Level: $128,350 - $173,650
