Overview Boeing Global Services (BGS) is hiring for Associate and Experienced-Level Product Support Engineers (Support Planning) to support the Derivatives Support Equipment Team in Tukwila, WA. The Derivatives Support Equipment Team supports all Ground Support Equipment requirements for commercial derivative programs including KC-46, VC-25B, E-7, and P-8. This role will join the logistics team and involve development of system and program requirements for Ground Support Equipment, customer and supplier interfacing on field issues, and project management from requirements definition through procurement, including contract proposals.
Responsibilities
Researches and provides technical information and engineering data used to produce requirements to develop and maintain Ground Support Equipment
Analyze system and maintenance data to determine ground support equipment requirements
Respond to customer and supplier inquiries regarding equipment interchangeability, configuration management, maintainability, and technical data clarification
Provide Engineering and on-site technical assistance related to ground support equipment
Coordinate across functions and business units to ensure project success
Analyze contract proposals and develop Basis of Estimate (BOE)
Support meetings and coordination with the US Air Force and foreign militaries for support equipment development, contract proposals, procurement, and sustainment projects
Respond to service requests and Ground Support Equipment licensee inquiries, applying engineering principles and practical experience
Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or an equivalent non-US qualification directly related to the work
2+ years of experience in Product Support or Logistics Integration Support
2+ years of experience with managing projects
Ability to travel domestically/internationally and possess a valid US Passport
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
Experience with systems requirements analysis, management, and validation/verification
Experience with government proposals
Experience with military or commercial aircraft systems
5+ years of experience with managing projects
5+ years of experience in Ground Support Equipment, Tooling, Product Support or Logistics Integration Support
