Principal Systems Engineer
to lead the architecture and integration of advanced propulsion systems including turbofan, turboshaft, turboprop, and electric engines. Base pay range
Base pay range : $70.00/hr - $80.00/hr Key Responsibilities
Lead system architecture and integration for complex aerospace propulsion systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in aerodynamics, materials, controls, and systems engineering. Conduct simulations and testing to validate engine performance and reliability. Manage project timelines, technical deliverables, and stakeholder communication. Stay current with emerging technologies in electric propulsion and fuel cell systems. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering. 10–15 years of experience in propulsion system design and integration. Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials. Proficiency in CAD (CATIA, NX), simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink), and MBSE (SysML). Experience with FAA/EASA certification standards and safety-critical systems (DO-178C, ARP4754A). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Seniority level
