Acuity International . This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in either the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required. Responsibilities:

Inspect, maintain, adjust, calibrate, and repair a variety of electronic, electromechanical, and hydraulic medical equipment, including patient monitors, defibrillators, imaging equipment (X-rays, CT scanners, ultrasound), voice-controlled operating tables, electric wheelchairs, and other specialized medical devices. Perform routine scheduled maintenance and safety checks, and train practitioners on proper equipment use. Disassemble equipment to diagnose malfunctions, replace defective parts, and reassemble with proper calibration. Notify manufacturers or distributors of unrepairable malfunctions for further action. Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inventory. Work near patients without causing disturbance, and document all work performed and system changes. Participate in meetings and task forces to improve quality, communicate issues, and stay updated on new developments and policies. Adhere to the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights for patients. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician. Diploma, certificate, or associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Engineering; military biomedical training certification also acceptable. Experience with CT scanners and similar sophisticated medical equipment. Ability to work independently and in team environments professionally. Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and office equipment. Flexibility to adapt to shift changes and operational needs. Strong problem-solving skills. US citizenship or permanent residency in the US for at least 3 of the past 5 years. Preferred: Current DHS clearance and bilingual in Spanish and English. Physical Requirements & Work Conditions:
