Overview
Outpatient Nurse Manager - Albany, NY, Full Time - St. Peter's Hospital Join to apply for the Outpatient Nurse Manager role at Trinity Health. Location: 319 South Manning Blvd, Albany, NY. Responsibilities
Directs nurses and technical managers in the coordination and control of personnel resources, including hiring, orientation, training, corrective discipline, counseling and scheduling in accordance with practice policies and regulatory standards. Ensures clinical management presence during working hours. Ensure timely performance evaluations of supervisory and clinical personnel with input from Managing Partners/Director and recommend compensation. Complete weekly clinical staff schedules, staff performance evaluations, program reviews, facility rounds and program utilization statistics. Develop objective performance measures to differentiate and incentivize clinical staff. Facilitate development and communication of the practice mission, goals, policies, procedures, and work expectations/standards to all clinical personnel. Develop clinical personnel budget based on patient care workflow with assistance from Director and Managing Partners. Create and evaluate ongoing nursing and technical staff professional development. Responsible for clinical workflow, patient care process improvement and quality management. Implement information technology solutions in conjunction with IT. Oversee daily schedule of ancillary testing to maximize appropriate use of nuclear, ultrasound, laboratory, and other testing functions. Promote efficiency, incentivize staff and minimize costs associated with test completion without compromising quality. Promote communications and resolve disputes between departmental supervisors as necessary. Complete daily reviews of facilities to ensure cleanliness and life safety codes are maintained; report issues to housekeeping, maintenance or facility manager as necessary. Qualifications
BSN required New York State licensure ACLS certification Minimum of ten years of demonstrated professional clinical leadership Significant electronic medical record and clinical information systems experience Hospital and/or private group practice experience preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills with physicians and other staff Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $36.50 - $50.68 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under FLSA will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The range may vary by location. Employer Statement
