$81,667.00/yr - $91,204.00/yr Job Summary

Provides mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services for adult and/or child members with a broad range of mental health needs. Collaborates with treating physicians, psychiatric, and allied health professionals to plan and direct treatment programs. Essential Responsibilities

Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates clinical treatment programs for members with mental illness. Participates in staff conferences and provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Instructs and counsels patients and families on therapeutic regimens and medication adherence. May administer specialized procedures and develop psychoeducational groups. Prepares intake summaries, treatment plans, case summaries, and maintains confidential records in compliance with regulations and standards. Collaborates with physicians on medication evaluation and utilizes community resources to meet treatment needs. May develop behavioral medicine and health psychology programs. Supervises trainees if qualified and completes departmental on-call rotations as required. Supports members' families with treatment explanations and adherence strategies. Refers members to external resources and participates in program development and evaluation. Reports safety concerns to mandated agencies. Basic Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with endorsement within 24 months of hire. NPI required at hire. Additional Requirements

Familiarity with DSM-V diagnosis, psychiatric assessment, and treatment of various conditions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of social service agencies, regulations, and confidentiality standards. Participation in on-call rotations may be required. Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice, psychotherapy research, and bio-psycho-social models. Ability to accurately diagnose and develop effective treatment plans. Competence in individual, family, and group therapy. Professional maturity, ethical integrity, and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask efficiently and work in a collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications

Post-licensure experience in outpatient or inpatient psychiatric settings. Experience in crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and multidisciplinary team participation. Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to quality care.
