Mikart, LLC Job Purpose The Manufacturing Team Leader(s) run the oral dosage production operations for Mikart, LLC. Supervises the planning, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for existing products and technologies. Undertakes production scheduling of materials, equipment and manpower requirements. Follows manufacturing policies and programs. Supervises the activities within production for which they are responsible (Compression/Coating/Granulation function and the Pharmacy/Blending/Liquids). Accountabilities For the preparation for and production of multiple products in your area of responsibility concurrently. For the execution of the production schedule adhering to cGMP, schedule, safety and quality commitments. For weekly and daily assignment of activities to staff to meet production schedule. For the continuous improvement of activities to better utilize resources within the production team or across the company. For responding to and resolving failures in production processes. For active management of individuals in achieving the team objectives. Supervise the dispensing of controlled substances. Supervise the storage and transport of controlled substances. Essential Job Functions Supervise and support all assigned personnel. Schedule personnel to maximize efficiency. Assure that assignments are completed according to schedule. Assure that rooms and equipments are cleaned in accordance with established procedures. Perform inspections to verify cleanliness of areas and equipment. Assure that products are properly staged and that all necessary supplies are available. Verify correctness of all batch materials and components. Verify weights and measurements are recorded in master records, as needed. Assure that all logbooks, master records, and other official documents maintained in good condition at all times, and that all required documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner. Assure that products are properly labeled before leaving the manufacturing area, and that batches and rejected materials are transferred to the appropriate areas for storage or further processing. Meet or exceed the productivity of the department. Conduct routine inspections to assure that all assigned personnel are performing duties in accordance with master instructions, cGMPs, and Standard Operating Procedures. Perform final review and reconciliation of master records upon completion of operations. Calculate yield after manufacturing step and / or as required. Train Manufacturing Personnel in SOPs and in the proper techniques for performance of their duties. Seniority level
