We have a new and exciting opportunity to hire a
Team Leader
for our
2nd shift ! This role will support Replenishing and Fragrance Manufacturing by monitoring replenishing, compounding and packing activities and leading a team of Compounders, Packers, Drivers, Sanitizers and Replenishers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily monitoring of orders to produce and inventory to replenish
Daily monitoring of Compounders, Packers, Drivers, Sanitizers and Replenishers.
Serve as the first point of contact for manufacturing or replenishing technical questions and troubleshooting (including batch adjustments), escalating matters to the Production Manager
Ensure all staff understand, apply, and execute manufacturing standards, specific instructions and customer specifications
Ensure all staff wear proper PPE and apply cGMP in the controlled areas
Maintain a safe environment and mindset and report any incidents or near miss with EHS tickets
Monitor operations throughout the day, making necessary adjustments in staff assignments, equipment, etc., to achieve the necessary volume and quality of daily output to guarantee the satisfaction of our internal and external customers
Coordinate with 1st shift and QC any quality issues
Monitor equipment and facilities issues and report to Maintenance or Production Manager as necessary; also monitor tools to ensure they are returned and in proper working order
Maintain a Continuous Improvement mindset and propose ideas for enhancement and development of processes
Work closely and coordinate with necessary 1st shift staff and production scheduler for shift hand-over, outlining complete/incomplete orders in compounding or packing, large tanks cleanliness and availability and scheduled work. Report any orders with yield issues or incomplete instructions and labels.
Coordinate with Logistics any priorities and route samples to the Distribution Center or to the Creative Center
Maintain and keep the library organized with our retain samples
Report daily consumables (pipettes, beakers, glass bottles) and proactively ensure inventory of packaging and consumables to allow execution of daily schedule, reporting any shortages or issues to Production Manager
May be responsible for time and attendance reporting of staff
May be responsible for End Day tasks completion and Facility closing when covering Maintenance
In conjunction with Production Supervisor, Manager and HR, responsible for recommending personnel actions (development, hire, fire, promotion, discipline)
Monitor training of new employees
Perform Compounder, Packer, Driver, Sanitizer, Replenisher duties and responsibilities as needed during high output periods or staff shortages
Ensure adherence to Manufacturing, EHS and GMP SOPs.
Other duties in support of company objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, in a related industry
Must possess the demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team and have the technical ability to serve as a primary resource on the production floor
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Standing, stretching, walking, lifting and climbing ladders may be required
Mixing and measuring skills

Pay Transparency Disclosure:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $28 per hour to $36 per hour plus a $2 shift differential. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, geographic location, and applicable legal considerations. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is awarded based on both individual and company performance.
