This is a highly responsible clinical psychologist position within the Division of Operations, Bureau of Rapid Response and Support. The role includes supporting the APD Regional Offices with the eligibility determination process, conducting in-depth reviews and evaluations to determine whether applicants meet eligibility criteria for agency services. The Work You Will Do

Conducts in-depth reviews and evaluates records to determine eligibility criteria, completes iBudget Waiver level of care determinations, and develops written summaries of eligibility determinations. Consults with Agency legal counsel and participates as an agency witness in hearings related to eligibility determinations. Minimum Qualifications

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office systems. Must have a driver’s license or other efficient means of transportation. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Ability to apply clinical judgment, communicate effectively, and understand and interpret applicable statutes, rules, regulations, and policies. Apply clinical judgment regarding eligibility determinations and client services. Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Understand, apply, and interpret applicable statutes, rules, regulations, and policies. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, Regional Office staff, consumers, family members, and other stakeholders.
