Responsibilities
Escort patients to and from the exam room, preparing them for examination.
Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
Assist the provider by scribing notes in the medical record.
Assist with setting up biopsies, excisions, suture removals, and cosmetic procedures.
Collect path/lab specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow‑up appointments.
Daily cleaning, organizing, and stocking exam rooms.
Maintain laboratory instruments, including cleaning and autoclaving.
Perform other duties as assigned to back‑office support.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (required).
Certified Medical Assistant (preferred but not required).
Medical Assistant training (required).
1–2 years of experience in a medical office as a medical assistant.
Prior dermatology and cosmetic experience (preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent phone etiquette, teamwork, and professionalism.
Compassionate care for patients and coworkers.
Prior experience with electronic medical records.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
