$79,001.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is hiring a Software Controls Engineer to join our team! The Software Controls Engineer is responsible for designing programming architectures and state machines to test and evaluate products on custom moderate complexity test benches. The software controls engineer will code and debug custom testing programs, assist in determining I/O and control hardware component specifications, assist in the selection sensing hardware, save, and manage data and write programming to operate machinery at a high level of proficiency. Candidate is expected to be highly skilled in one or more of the following: LabVIEW, Teststand, C, and Ladder Logic. Essential Functions Mentor less experienced Software Control Engineers Manage projects Interface and collaborate with Production Engineers, Quality Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, and Calibration Technicians Design, create, edit, and troubleshoot complex code to control industrial and testing machines, vision inspection systems, industrial barcode scanning systems, databases, and user interfaces Read and comprehend electrical schematics Qualifications Extensive experience (12+ years) in programming languages such as LabVIEW, Teststand, NXG, C, Ladder Logic, and Python Experience interfacing with data acquisition systems, PLCs, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and managing databases Knowledge of communication protocols like Ethernet/IP, Modbus, TCP/IP, SPI, I2C, Serial Ability to read electrical schematics using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Visio Strong communication skills, organized, skilled in technical writing and documentation Why Choose Dynamic?
