Core Responsibilities

Manage project design functions which includes the following:

Managing the project design schedule and any ties with procurement and construction

Oversee project procurement for design scopes

Budgeting, forecasting, and aspects of financial

Monitor quantities versus baseline at the 30, 60, 95 and IFC design

Manage communication between inhouse, client, subcontractor and public agencies

Review and ensure quality of design deliverables meets contract requirements

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the design process and design principles. Experience with design software is a plus

Ability to identify and resolve problems proactively

Tracking and analyzing design performance at a per deliverable level. Experience with rules of credit not just lump sum hour budgets

Ability to adapt your communication style to the different parties involved

Ability to lead a team of 3-5 direct reports

Give timely feedback and ensure team meets all deadlines

Allocate resources effectively to optimize team performance
