As Cost Manager, you'll oversee budgeting, forecasting, subcontractor evaluations, and change management across complex scopes of work. What You’ll Do:
Lead MEP cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting across large-scale projects
Review subcontractor bids, change orders, and payment apps
Implement and manage project cost control systems
Conduct risk-based cost analyses and align cost/schedule impacts
Oversee change orders from evaluation through implementation
Support procurement strategy and contract execution
Advise leadership on design changes and cost implications
Mentor junior staff and produce high-level cost reporting
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s in mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
5+ years in MEP cost control or project controls on large construction projects
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and process utilities
Skilled in cost control software (CostX, Sage, Prism, Excel, ERP)
Experience with Lump Sum, GMP, and Cost-Plus contract models
Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
Bonus Points For:
Semiconductor, data center, or pharma/cleanroom project experience
Familiarity with BIM/VDC workflows
Certifications (MRICS, CCP, PMP)
