The Traveling Electrical Site Supervisor will manage other electricians to ensure proper installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems. They will conduct regular inspections to ensure supplies, materials, and equipment are available and working as intended. They will manage electrical projects in the Tucson, AZ and/or Albuquerque, NM area and will travel regionally. Upon completion of these projects there is potential to manage a project in a different area.

Job Summary The Traveling Electrical Site Supervisor will manage other electricians to ensure they properly install, repair, and maintain electrical systems. They will conduct regular inspections to make sure that all required supplies, materials, and equipment are available and working as intended. They will manage electrical projects in the Tucson, AZ and/or Albuquerque, NM area and will travel regionally. Upon completion of these projects there is potential to manage a project in a different area.
Essential Duties
Establish high-quality work practices that align with the mission of FMM
Assist with the electrical work when needed
Coordinate projects and maintain schedules to ensure crew members complete their work on time
Produce and prepare sketches and layout drawings for projects
Minimize errors and solve problems quickly
Train new electricians or establish a team of crew members who facilitate training to new electricians
Have complete understanding of electrical system installation in ground up commercial projects
Can implement all aspects of a new construction commercial electrical build. Slab rough-in, wall layout, installation of equipment/gear, power and lighting distribution, feeder pulls, trim out, troubleshooting, code compliance, best standard electrical practices, cost control, and crew management
Heavy travel is required
Required Skills and Qualifications
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent apprenticeship.
Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in electrical work
Must have knowledge of safety rules and regulations and learn client and company policy.
Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions using FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Passion, and Integrity
Proficient in computer, text, and email skills
Proficient in using power tools and electrical testing equipment.
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Experience working with high voltage and low voltage systems.
Strong understanding of electrical principles and concepts
Ability to build and install electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.
Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Ability to manage challenges and lead with confidence
Proven leadership and organizational skills
Exceptional communication skills
Heavy travel is required
Physical Requirements
Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
Ability to pass a motor vehicle report screening
High noise environment
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and working around construction machinery
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
