The Manufacturing Quality Engineer is responsible for improving the engineering, manufacturing, and quality of products. The primary focus is to address complex issues that affect product quality and customer satisfaction by developing and implementing systems and process changes to improve overall quality performance and achieve sustainable results. Responsibilities

Initiate projects related to product, process, quality systems, or yield improvement based on quality indicators. Develop and implement systems that improve quality and ensure sustainable results, driving continuous improvement. Utilize advanced measurement tools, techniques, and test equipment; analyze results effectively. Create and review qualification plans for internal product transfers (Process Review, Test Plan Development, PCN, etc.). Serve as a training resource for measurement and test equipment operation. Supervise and train Manufacturing Quality Support personnel. Monitor and report KPIs regularly via meetings, email, and reports. Analyze data to understand problems and develop solutions, including quality data, manufacturing process data, and audit results. Investigate quality issues using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Maintain Work Instructions, SOPs, Training Documents, and Workmanship Standards. Apply quality tools such as failure analysis, root cause analysis, DOE, PFMEA, SPC, etc., to resolve issues and prevent recurrence. Coordinate containment of nonconforming materials. Audit manufacturing processes for compliance and develop plans to address issues. Qualifications

8+ years' experience in Process Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Operations Management. Experience with ISO/TS or Automotive Quality systems preferred. Knowledge of Manufacturing techniques like LEAN & 5S. Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit for extended periods. Preferred Skills and Education

Electronic industry experience highly desired. Experience with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949, or Mil/Aero/Medical quality systems is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Six Sigma or Problem Solving background preferred. Additional Information
