Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to support our Legal Department. This is a contract position with an immediate start, offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Gain a working knowledge of the company’s operations and regulatory licensing landscape.

Monitor and track various business, health, liquor, and operational permits related to food and beverage services in locations.

Assist in gathering, organizing, and maintaining documentation required for licensing processes.

Prepare and submit applications and disclosure forms for federal, state, and local operating licenses.

Ensure timely and accurate filing of license applications and renewals.

Maintain and update internal records and databases related to licensing activities.

Provide regular updates on the status of pending licenses and compliance matters.

Manage the execution and secure storage of licensing documents.

Conduct due diligence on third-party entities and perform legal research to support compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment and timely completion of licensing tasks.

Handle incoming licensing correspondence: receive, scan, upload, and distribute documents to appropriate internal and external stakeholders.

Support legal team members with additional administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in an administrative or legal support role, preferably within a regulated industry.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
