Overview The Leadership Development Program (LDP) at Cloverdale Foods is a highly competitive, fast-track rotational program designed to accelerate the growth of emerging leaders. This one-year program places early-career professionals in key leadership roles, offering hands-on experience, cross-functional assignments, and exposure to strategic business initiatives. Through a blend of real-world responsibility, structured learning, and mentorship from senior executives, participants develop the skills, confidence, and vision needed to become future leaders.

Reports to Sr. Director of Engineering/ CI

Environment Office Environment: 50%

of the work is conducted in an office setting, involving time spent on computer research, project management, and communication with team members and stakeholders. Frequent participation in both in-person and virtual meetings, including project updates, strategy sessions, and presentations to management and stakeholders.

Production Environment: 50%

Regular visits to the production areas will involve exposure to machinery, noise, varying temperatures, humidity, and wet conditions.

Schedule:

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

Participate in a series of structured rotational assignments across critical functions such as Strategy, Operations, Product Development, Supply Chain, and more.

Drive business-critical projects with measurable outcomes, delivering insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions to real-world business challenges.

Conduct analyses to support strategic decision-making.

Present findings and results to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.

Receive mentorship and coaching from senior leaders, and participate in leadership forums, development workshops, and peer learning communities.

Engage in continuous feedback loops and performance reviews to track development progress and align with career aspirations.

Contribute to a culture of excellence, inclusion, and ethical leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong technical aptitude, particularly in flexible or dynamic production and operational environments.

Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams and driving results through collaboration and accountability.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills with keen attention to detail.

Strong desire for continuous learning, professional development, and willingness to take on increasing responsibilities.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Proven ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

Visits to production areas will involve exposure to machinery, high noise levels, varying temperatures, humidity, and wet conditions.

Must be comfortable sharing office space with other professionals and performing repetitive, computer-based tasks, including extended periods of sitting and detailed screen work.

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach, stretch, stoop, and bend for extended periods.

Must be able to communicate through various channels to effectively present data and plans to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits At Cloverdale Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $50,000 - $65,000 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.

Other components of Cloverdale Foods’ total compensation package include life insurance, medical, dental and vision coverage, pay-for-performance merit increases, and 401(k) with employer match, paid vacation, weekly massage reimbursement, and more.
