Vision Realty & Management is seeking a new Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their increasing momentum!
This is a remote role, but this person will preferably live in the Greater Atlanta area.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for expanding Visionʼs portfolio by attracting new investors and property owners, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and identifying new markets for growth. This role focuses on converting inbound leads, reducing owner churn, and building networks to create outbound leads. The Business Development Manager also plays a critical role in vendor onboarding and evaluating new properties to ensure they are a good fit for the company's management services
Key Responsibilities
Lead Conversion:
Manage inbound leads from prospective property owners and investors, converting them into clients by presenting the benefits of Visionʼs management services. Market Expansion:
Identify new cities and regional markets for Visionʼs expansion. Conduct market research and build strategic networks to generate new business opportunities in emerging markets. Network Building:
Actively engage with investors, real estate professionals, and property owners to generate outbound leads. Promote Visionʼs services through industry events, networking opportunities, and partnerships. Property Onboarding:
Oversee the onboarding process for all new properties (residential, multifamily, and commercial), ensuring they meet Visionʼs standards. Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate the condition, compliance, and overall fit of new properties for management Client Consultation:
Work closely with property owners to ensure their expectations align with Visionʼs services. Provide consultative support on property management best practices and market trends to help clients maximize their investments Cross-Department Collaboration:
Collaborate with the operations, leasing, and marketing teams to ensure smooth transitions for new properties and vendors. Ensure all internal departments are aligned with client and property needs Brand Promotion:
Actively promote Visionʼs brand through marketing initiatives, online presence, and networking within industry groups and associations. Education and Experience: Bachelorʼs degree in business, real estate, marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or property management. Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and maintaining strong client relationships Experience in real estate, property management, or a related industry is strongly preferred. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong understanding of property management software and CRM tools. Ability to conduct market research and identify new business opportunities. Daily Tasks: Manage and respond to inbound leads, scheduling consultations with prospective property owners. Conduct follow-ups with existing clients to maintain strong relationships and reduce churn. Research and identify new markets for expansion, and reach out to potential clients in those areas. Conduct on-site inspections for new properties to ensure they meet company standards. Assist in onboarding new vendors, ensuring that they align with company goals and service standards. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure new properties are smoothly integrated into Visionʼs portfolio. Attend industry networking events and maintain an active presence in real estate communities to promote the brand. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, conversion, and retention.
