Acura Shop Foreman / Technician Team Leader Carter Motors – Lynnwood, WA

This position provides a competitive salary of

$90,000–$120,000 per year , commensurate with experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $90,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience.

Monthly performance bonuses available based on team production, quality, and ACE metrics.

Responsibilities

Dispatch & Workflow Management

Dispatch repair orders to a team of 8 technicians daily, ensuring balanced workloads and efficient bay utilization.

Oversee shop flow to meet repair timelines and maximize productivity.

Monitor progress on all vehicles to ensure timely completion and delivery.

Quality Control & Standards

Perform quality checks on completed repairs to ensure work meets Acura standards.

Maintain a “Fixed First Visit” mindset across all repairs.

Review comeback repairs and coach technicians on root cause prevention.

Technical Support & Training

Work directly with technicians to assist in complex diagnostics and repair verification.

Provide 1-on-1 training, guidance, and mentorship for all levels of technicians, including Express and Apprentice.

Ensure all technicians are current on required Acura/Honda online training modules.

Leadership & Accountability

Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive shop culture.

Support advisors and management by communicating repair progress and challenges clearly.

Uphold safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all company and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a flat‑rate automotive technician, preferably Acura or Honda certified.

Proven leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred.

Advanced diagnostic and electrical skills.

Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities.

Ability to coach, motivate, and mentor team members effectively.

WA state driver's license required.

Clean & Clear WA state driving record required.

Pre‑employment background check, reference check & drug screen required.
