We are seeking an
Assistant Project Manager
for a full-time, exempt salaried position in commercial building construction. This is NOT a remote role; some daily travel is required for project meetings and inspections. A personal vehicle is necessary, with travel expenses reimbursed at company rates. Benefits include PTO, health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
Experience with Procore and other construction management tools like Sage Timberline, Microsoft Project, PlanGrid, EarthCam, MS Office.
Prior experience preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Attention to detail, ability to manage tight schedules, collaborate effectively, and maintain client relationships are essential.
Typically, candidates have at least a two-year technical or business degree, often a four-year degree in Construction Management.
Basic knowledge of accounting, engineering, and project management is crucial.
Responsibilities:
Supporting a Project Manager with tasks such as managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities, creating weekly schedules, liaising with inspectors and owner representatives, managing deliveries, maintaining as-built documents, updating project schedules, and other ongoing duties.
Opportunities:
Gain experience across all project phases from design to completion in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Opportunities for advancement to larger projects or other roles within the company exist over time.
