Job Summary

The Demand Analyst is a professional position responsible for developing and maintaining accurate sales plans, forecasts and detailed demand plans for end-items, subassemblies, and component parts. The Demand Analyst leads and facilitates the demand review process and aftermarket inventory management processes as required and carries direct responsibility for performing relatively complex assignments that affect business operations to a moderate degree.

Essential Functions

Administer and monitor monthly Demand Review process for assigned Solutions/ Value Stream/ Site to ensure the demand is identified in a cost-effective and timely manner Administer assigned market segment/ demand stream/ site pre-demand reviews in a highly proficient manner Supply aggregated sales forecast input to the Crane Aerospace & Electronics Sales Forecast/ SIOP processes Manage efficient and accurate forecasting processes for assigned area(s) Develop and improve forecasting/demand management tools and processes Participate as a team member in the annual sales plan process to create an Operations Sales Plan that can be achieved or exceeded Support the development of market outlooks and assumptions, aircraft build rate projections (e.g. rollouts), market analyses, etc. Perform work with intermittent direction Interface productively and professionally with internal personnel Support department goals and be a strong team player Any other task assigned by your supervisor or management

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in forecasting/demand planning Experience in participating in continuous improvement initiatives Knowledge: General understanding and application of industry principles, concepts, practices, and standards of the forecasting/demand planning field Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of Access and Statistical Forecasting Software; Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Office Suite; strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated experience developing and implementing solutions for problems of moderate scope and complexity; ability to work in a changing environment Education/Certification: BA or BS in Business or technical field or equivalent experience (equivalent experience requires 2 years of applicable experience for each year of required education) Needs to be local to Burbank, CA or Lynnwood, WA – No Relocation Eligibility: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Only US Persons will be considered where required. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by ITAR.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Fusion Cloud Business Visualization Tools (Tableau, Power BI) Data Query Language Knowledge (e.g., SQL, Power Query, Access)

Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $81,000.00 - $97,000.00. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience, skills, training, and qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for performance-based bonus programs. Benefits include health care, dental or life insurance starting the first day of the month; 15 days of paid time off plus 12 paid holidays per year; 401(k) with company match; education reimbursement after 90 days of employment.
