Business Aviation Lender (BAL) Department
Commercial Loans / Wichita Loans Location
Wichita, KS Responsibilities
Be a highly visible contributor on driving the strategic direction of Equity Bank\'s aircraft financing program and managing program goals. Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, industry bodies, and market participants. Represent Equity Bank at aviation industry events (e.g., NBAA, NAFA, Wichita Aero Club). Partner with Aircraft Valuation Specialists to assess and value new and used aircraft collateral. Assess risk in line with laws, policy, and regulatory requirements; protect Equity Bank\'s reputation and assets. Meet or exceed loan/deposit growth and fee income goals as assigned. Monitor market conditions and competitor impacts to maintain a competitive and profitable client base. Develop and maintain knowledge of all commercial products to facilitate cross-selling and enhance client experience. Understand loan documentation to mitigate risk. Manage and service commercial client relationships; maintain regular contact and high level of service while understanding client risk profiles. Retain clients with acceptable risk profiles; adhere to Equity Bank policies and procedures. Maximize profitability to meet annual EPS goals; optimize loan pricing, fee income, and deposit rates. Maintain acceptable levels of delinquencies and non-performing assets; demonstrate strong credit skills in underwriting and risk management. Communicate potential credit downgrades promptly; maintain credit documentation within standards. Demonstrate time management, organization, and prioritization in day-to-day responsibilities; support marketing with aircraft financing materials. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in aircraft finance at a financial institution or within the private aviation industry. Strong understanding of aircraft financing programs, regulatory requirements, loan terms, and documents. 5+ years of OEM business aircraft sales experience is preferred but not required. Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and professional skills. Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems. Equal Opportunity
