Overview

The Global Physical Security Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist is pivotal in supporting the Global Physical Security Organization by enhancing operational efficiency through data-driven insights and effective vendor management. This role analyzes diverse security data sources and develops and maintains detailed reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI, Smartsheet, and SharePoint to summarize critical security metrics for timely decision making by stakeholders. Responsibilities

Data Analytics and Reporting

The role analyzes Physical Security Data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform workload allocation, enhance security measures, align with budgetary needs, and meet customer expectations. Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards that summarize critical security metrics (e.g., incident response times, access control breaches, risk assessments) and key performance indicators to facilitate informed decisions. Collaborate with Security Teams to refine data collection processes and ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting platforms and tools. Define and oversee KPIs and metrics essential for assessing organizational performance, monitoring risks, and ensuring security objectives are met. Produce trend analyses to support strategic initiatives and identify areas for improvement and potential risks. Vendor Performance Management

Evaluate vendor relationships to ensure alignment with organizational goals and quality standards. Support vendor selection through market research and comparative analysis of proposals. Monitor vendor performance against SLAs to ensure compliance and address issues promptly. Participate in contract negotiation support, including scope, terms, SLAs, and pricing with vendors, and collaborate with internal teams. Manage RFP processes, bid reviews, and documentation of findings for stakeholder decisions. Procurement and Product Selection

Collaborate with internal teams to identify and select products and services that enhance operational efficiency. Develop sourcing strategies that ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. Conduct cost-benefit analyses to verify value and alignment with organizational needs. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in physical security to inform procurement decisions. Budget Support and Tracking

Conduct cost analyses and track expenditures to align with financial goals. Assist with budget development for physical security initiatives, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Lead purchase orders and invoice review to ensure consistency with goods and services received. Monitor expenditures and provide insights for adjustments. Review financial reports and forecasts to support strategic planning and resource allocation. Implement forecasting techniques to anticipate future physical security needs in data centers and align budgeting accordingly. Conduct regular financial analyses to assess ROI on security technology expenditures and identify cost optimization opportunities for data center operations. Support for Global Security Data Policy and Procedures

Provide backup for Global Security Data policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency in data management within departmental SLOs. Monitor adherence to best practices in data handling and reporting. Maintain reporting tools, document libraries, and the services and equipment catalog to support operational efficiency and customer demand. Qualifications

3+ years of experience in data analytics, vendor management, or related roles. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Smartsheet). Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation processes. Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex information clearly. Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position may require occasional travel to vendor offices and operational sites. Experience in the security or data center industry is preferred. Education / Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. Certifications in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP) or data analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus. Experience with global security programs, particularly in the data center or technology sector. Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks for managing support.
