Overview
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Senior SME Target Engagement Systems (TES) to provide research support administration services for our government customer in Ft. Bragg, NC. Responsibilities
Assist the SGM and Deputy for Target Engagement Systems as the TES SME, collaborating with government partners, academic laboratories, and private industry to develop new tools and technology in support of the SOF Individual and Crew Served Weapons and Small Arms Ammunition community. Assist in the preparation and development of new requirements documentation, including Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capabilities Development Documents (CDD), SPECAT messages, Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP), Test Plans, and update Project Folders. Provide advice and training on current advanced drilling techniques/technology applications; explosive planning factors; charge preparation; charge emplacement; and the design, fabrication, and testing of commercial and industrial blasting products. Coordinate with the Project Manager and/or Quality Assurance Manager to ensure adequate design specifications and associated documentation and to resolve problem reports. Required Education and Certifications
Bachelor's degree is required; Master’s degree preferred. Required Skills and Experience
At least 12 years of experience in weapons and small arms ammunition development, testing requirements, fielding, and industry SAAMI specifications (particularly SOF) with knowledge of weapons and small arms ammunition employment techniques, tactics, procedures. Citizenship and Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen (Born or Naturalized). Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance. About the Employer and Benefits
