Senior SME Breaching Photography and Testing
to provide research support administration services for our government customer in
Ft. Bragg, NC . Responsibilities
Assist the SGM and Deputy for Breaching as the Breaching Photographer and Testing SME, collaborating with government partners, academic laboratories, and private industry to develop, photograph, and test new tools and technology in support of the SOF explosive and mechanical breaching community. Assist in the preparation and development of new requirements documentation, including Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capabilities Development Documents (CDD), SPECAT messages, Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP), Test Plans, and updating Project Folders. Provide advice and photographic documentation training on current advanced drilling techniques/technology applications; explosive planning factors; charge preparation; charge emplacement; and the design, fabrication, and testing of commercial and industrial blasting products. Coordinate with the Project Manager and/or Quality Assurance Manager to ensure adequate design specifications and associated documentation and to resolve problem reports. Required Degree / Education / Certification
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Required Skills and Experience
At least 12 years of experience in heavy and medium explosive and mechanical breaching operations (particularly SOF) with knowledge of breaching and entry techniques, tactics, and procedures. Subject matter expert in current advanced drilling techniques/technology applications; explosive planning factors; charge preparation; charge emplacement; and design, fabrication, and testing of commercial and industrial blasting products. Required Citizenship and Clearance
