Our client is a nationally recognized General Contractor with a strong Texas presence, known for building complex commercial projects across sectors including corporate offices, healthcare, higher education, retail, and mixed-use developments. Position Overview The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects — from preconstruction through closeout — ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is a client‑facing leadership position responsible for managing internal teams, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets while maintaining direct communication with ownership and design partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all phases of project delivery: preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution.
Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in coordination with the Superintendent and field team.
Manage subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and change management.
Oversee financial performance: cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and consultants.
Drive project meetings, RFIs, submittals, and document control processes.
Promote jobsite safety and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards.
Support and mentor project engineers and assistant project managers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
5–10 years of experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
Proven ability to deliver projects $10M–$100M+ in value.
Strong background in scheduling (Primavera P6 or MS Project), budget management, and cost reporting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to manage teams and interface directly with clients.
OSHA 30 and/or CHST certification preferred.
