Buyer – Purchasing
Würth MRO, Safety & Metalworking welcomes a Buyer to manage inventory and procurement activities within assigned categories.
Responsibilities
Efficiently drive all purchasing functions, including forecasting, planning, and order placement in ERP system.
Perform purchase order entry, resolve purchase order problems, and conduct follow‑up activities as necessary.
Work with suppliers to expeditiously avoid or resolve disruptions to product supply or services.
Monitor shipments to ensure goods arrive on time and in accordance with specifications.
Manage and approve Inventory Request Forms as needed.
Coordinate inter‑company transfers and work with warehouses to expedite if necessary.
Develop partnerships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and improved results.
Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless coordination.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree and 1 year related experience; or an associate’s degree with 2‑3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and collaborative skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive and productive working relationships at all organizational levels and with vendor community.
Strong product and industry knowledge.
May be required to travel for business; business travel required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
