The Senior Warehouse Specialist is an experienced individual contributor who executes warehouse operations at the highest level of skill and accuracy. As a subject matter expert in material handling, inventory control, ERP transactions, and custom packaging, this role ensures the integrity and efficiency of warehouse processes. The Senior Warehouse Specialist is relied upon to perform complex receiving, cycle counts, and crating tasks independently, troubleshoot inventory or process discrepancies, and serve as a mentor to junior warehouse staff. This role sets the standard for operational excellence in the warehouse and supports cross-functional needs across production, logistics, and service. Essential Functions

Perform and oversee complex receiving, storage, put away, picking, packing, and staging of materials. Execute advanced ERP transactions to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories, reconciling differences independently. Ensure accuracy and quality in handling high-value, sensitive, or non-standard materials. Monitor warehouse performance metrics and escalate issues identified. Perform kitting of material into custom crating and/or packaging, including vapor barrier sealing for sensitive equipment. Support audits and compliance by maintaining accurate records and demonstrating process expertise. Identify inefficiencies in daily warehouse operations and suggest improvements. Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and proper flow of materials. Act as SME in warehouse systems, NCR (nonconformance) processes, and lean practices. Mentor and train Warehouse Coordinators I & II in proper techniques and process standards. Collaborate with Logistics staff to stage shipments and prepare materials for outbound freight. Participate in rigging and safe handling of heavy or oversized materials. Other duties as necessary to support Mevion’s goals. Education, Training, And Experience

8+ years of progressive experience in warehouse or logistics operations, ideally in regulated industries. Proficiency with ERP systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and data entry. Excellent communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Powered industrial truck (PIT) certification for forklifts, scissor jacks, and Crown Wave order pickers. Experience in lean manufacturing processes and improvements Experience in crating product with custom non-standard packaging with vapor barrier sealing. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to execute tasks independently and train junior staff. Physical And Environmental Considerations

Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time. Required use of standard office equipment including laptop, phone, copier, etc. Must be able to safely navigate factory and warehouse environments. May be involved in rigging operations and heavy equipment handling. Must be able to work in confined spaces or areas requiring use of a harness. Ability to lift 25-pound boxes to a height of 3–4 feet. Ability to push & pull heavy pallets with a hand truck. Able to reach, bend, and move safely in warehouse settings.
