Overview
Insight Global is seeking a Facilities Mechanic /Maintenance Technician to be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of various utility systems, facility infrastructure, and process equipment. This role ensures that all systems operate efficiently and reliably, supporting the overall functionality of the facility. Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, compressed air systems (CDA), vacuum systems, and liquid nitrogen systems (Boilers, chillers, cooling tower, air handlers). Obtain proposals from multiple vendors for various services. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems including motors, pumps, seals, filters, dryers, and controls. Service refrigeration and air handler systems, including chilled and hot water industrial systems. Maintain and repair process vacuum systems, hot water boilers, and water piping/filtration systems. Use diagnostic tools to measure flow, pressure, current, voltage, temperature, and humidity. Read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation. Perform alignment, lubrication, and replacement of bearings and seals. Required Skills and Experience
3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a facilities or industrial setting. Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (volt-ohm meters, pressure gauges, etc.). Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks without restrictions. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas & charts), Word, and Outlook. NICE TO HAVE Skills and Experience
Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience with digital and analog control systems. Familiarity with Building Management Systems (e.g., Siemens Insight/Apogee). Compensation
$35/hr to $48/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefits
