The

Manufacturing Engineer

plans, designs, arranges, changes, and optimizes Shop manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Develops, evaluates, improves, and documents manufacturing processes

Develops and implements process control procedures

Directs improvements to facilities and processes

Analyzes manufacturing process flows continually to improve quality, cost reduction, and throughput

Works with configuration control and design engineering on product tooling and design

Consults with vendors about product specifications, arranging equipment, purchasing parts and material, and evaluating products according to quality standards and specifications

Working closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate and implement technical training for employees

Designs and develops manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, new products and related fixtures and tooling consistent with zero defect level and low product cost

Documents tool drawings, design concepts, shop orders, and concepts

Helps Production with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar field

Engineering Internship/Co-Op experience preferred

Knowledge of manufacturing and Lean concepts

Ability to learn new technologies

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Team-oriented and collaborative

Salary Range:

$70,000.00-$90,000.00
