Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer plans, designs, arranges, changes, and optimizes Shop manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
- Develops, evaluates, improves, and documents manufacturing processes
- Develops and implements process control procedures
- Directs improvements to facilities and processes
- Analyzes manufacturing process flows continually to improve quality, cost reduction, and throughput
- Works with configuration control and design engineering on product tooling and design
- Consults with vendors about product specifications, arranging equipment, purchasing parts and material, and evaluating products according to quality standards and specifications
- Working closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate and implement technical training for employees
- Designs and develops manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, new products and related fixtures and tooling consistent with zero defect level and low product cost
- Documents tool drawings, design concepts, shop orders, and concepts
- Helps Production with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar field
- Engineering Internship/Co-Op experience preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing and Lean concepts
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Team-oriented and collaborative
Salary Range: $70,000.00-$90,000.00
