Overview
Civil Design Project Engineer - Mid Level – Omaha, NE. Full-Time Civil Design Project Engineer in our Omaha office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can communicate effectively with team members, public officials, and clients to develop land development plans and will have a proven track record of civil engineering design expertise. Responsibilities
Produce design plans and specifications for residential and commercial land development. Prepare civil engineering design calculations, high-level technical designs, drainage reports, and cost estimates. Work with city, county, and state regulatory or reviewing authorities to identify appropriate design criteria and limitations. Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an EAC/ABET, CEAB-accredited engineering program, or program that meets the NCEES Engineering Education Standard Engineer in Training (E.I.T. or E.I.) Designation Four (4) years of progressively responsible engineering experience Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Experience with design, hydrologic and hydraulic computations, computer modeling and presentation of results Demonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications
Seven (7) years of progressively responsible engineering experience Registered Professional Civil Engineer Knowledge of the Omaha Regional Design Manual and PERMIX E&A is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
