As we expand upon that legacy and continue to grow, Tellepsen is looking for experienced Assistant Superintendents to join our team An Assistant Superintendent supports the Senior Superintendent to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed in the field regarding safety, scheduling, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction. Supervise craft workers/subcontractors assigned to area of responsibility, provide liaison between field engineering and crafts to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications. Assist in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc. Monitor work performance and productivity of crafts/subcontractors to ensure project rules, procedures, safety requirements, etc. are maintained. Advise ranking superintendents and/or project management of potential problems, work interference, scheduling difficulties, etc.; Assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required. Assist with daily paperwork as assigned by the ranking Superintendent. Assist with timely and accurate project close out procedures (As-Builts, Punchlist, Completion list, etc.). Understand subcontract agreement documents and their requirements. Sit in on and actively participate in meetings with inspectors under quality control sector. Ensure all permitting and inspections and in alignment with City of Houston requirements. Understand and participate in observation process and necessary reports. Completion of annual First Aid/CPR and Crisis Management Training IMPORTANT SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES Leadership

Self-assured with an in-check ego, emotional intelligence and maturity, the ability to be self-critical and admit mistakes without being defensive. - Must be bright, have a very strong work ethic, persistent and committed. Not fazed by obstacles or initial negative responses. Results-oriented, driven to succeed, reputation for getting things accomplished. Passion
