(Tire & Lube Tech) Automotive General Service Technician at Monro, Inc. This entry-level Automotive Technician position starts with comprehensive training and is a pathway into Monro’s service roles. You will be an essential team member performing maintenance services on guest vehicles and delivering 5 Star Guest experiences while developing your technician skills. Responsibilities
Perform maintenance services on guest vehicles, including tire-related tasks. Change, mount, install, rotate, and balance tires; inspect and patch/plug tires as needed. Conduct quick lube-type duties such as lubrication and oil changes. Assist with wheel removal, tire repair, and basic maintenance tasks. Learn and perform alignments, brake services, and scheduled maintenance through training. Compensation
The hourly range for this role is $15 - $17 based on experience. This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives with an additional $2 hourly flat rate on work performed. Pay will be determined based on experience level. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
HS diploma or GED equivalent Automotive experience Own a basic set of mechanics tools or participate in tool purchase program Valid driver license Must be at least 18 years of age Positive attitude and a collaborative mindset Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications
